There are times when life can feel overwhelming, difficult or simply not how you would like it to be.
You may be struggling with anxiety, low mood, loss, relationship difficulties, the impact of past experiences, or changes in your life that you are finding hard to navigate. Sometimes there may not be one particular reason at all — you may simply feel that things have become too much.
Counselling gives you the opportunity to step away from the demands of everyday life and have some time and space for yourself.
Together, we can explore what is happening for you, make sense of your experiences and begin to understand what you might need to feel more able to move forward.
I offer a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and at your own pace.
Relationships can go through difficult periods for many different reasons. You may be experiencing repeated arguments, communication difficulties, feeling disconnected from one another, or struggling to understand each other's needs.
Sometimes couples find themselves caught in the same patterns and feel unsure how to move forward.
I offer couples counselling as a safe, confidential and balanced space where both partners can be heard. My role is not to take sides or decide who is right or wrong, but to help you explore what is happening within your relationship and understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
Couples counselling can provide an opportunity to slow things down, listen to one another differently and begin to communicate with greater understanding.
You don't have to be at breaking point to seek couples counselling. Some couples come because they want to address difficulties before they become more entrenched, while others seek support during a significant period of change.

I also offer counselling for non-romantic couples, whether that be struggling adult parent & child relationships, siblings that are unable to communicate effectively or a friendship or business partnership that has become difficult. Do get in touch to hear how counselling could help.
